The Route Network of Emperor Charles, recognized as European Cultural Route of the Council of Europe through its Institute of Cultural Routes, will be present at the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR), which will take place in Madrid between 23th and 27th January, and where it will present its calendar of activities for 2019.
This Network will develop a large amount of activities. For example, as a highlight, the presentation of the Imperial Kitchen 2019 project at the stand of the Junta de Extremadura, which will take place on Wednesday, January 23th at 5:30 p.m. In its first edition, held on November 23th and 24th last year in Jarandilla de la Vera (Caceres), brought together more than 200 people interested in developing projects related to the Emperor Charles V from a gastronomic point of view and tourist. During this presentation will be reviewed what was the first edition, and will be announced the bases of the places where this activity sponsored by this Network of Routes will be held throughout 2019.
Also, the stand of Asturias will host an hour later (18:30) the presentation of the European Events Agenda and a promotional video, which reviews the most important events to be held throughout this year and that are related to the figure of the Emperor Charles V; this is the case of his first landing in Tazones, an appointment that, year after year, attracts the attention of hundreds of attendees to that Asturian village.
On the other hand, during the course of the fair, the Network of Routes of Carlos V will maintain different meetings with diverse organizations and institutions to expand their activities in benefit of the partners that conform it.
